Shipping

PLEASE EXPECT PROCESSING AND SHIPPING DELAYS DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC SITUATION.

DUE TO CANADA POST NO LONGER OFFERING SIGNATURES ON DELIVERY, ORDERS THAT ARE VALUED AT $1000.00 AND ABOVE WILL ONLY BE SHIPPED TO THE NEAREST POST OFFICE – YOU WILL RECEIVE A NOTICE THAT INDICATES WHERE TO PICK UP YOUR PACKAGE. THIS IS TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF YOUR PACKAGE.

Please find the shipping terms and conditions below;

  • Canada Shipping:- Regular Order Processing can take up to 5 Business days from receipt of payment (including shipping). For Orders over $1000, We will now automatically ship orders to your nearest Post Office/Postal Outlet rather than to your front door. A card will be left at your door to notify you. We have adopted this step to prevent the theft of your parcels. To opt out of this for any reason, please contact us.
  • US shipping;-  The item will be dropped at the USPS mail depot in Edmonton within 7 business days of purchase and because they enter the USPS mail system directly, shipping time is faster and more reliable than using Canada Post and cross-border shipping.

Overview

Our refund and returns policy is within 14 days of delivery, also if 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Return Policy

All items are guaranteed authentic and as described on the website. If there is an error with the product on your purchase or a damaged item, please contact us at sales@coinsandbanknotes.ca within 14 days of delivery. We will take responsibility for items that are incorrect or damaged, and thus send a return shipping label. We will replace it where possible or refund the amount of the item(s) upon return. We do not accept returns on products that have been opened and/or (in the case of precious metal products), their surfaces handled. We do not accept returns on any bullion products or sale items. Edmonton Collections or Coins and Banknotes can not be held responsible for bullion items that have small “dings” or milk spots as these are typical of all bullion products. Items that are described as damaged in the product description will not be accepted as a return and are considered to be sold as is. Please read all product information carefully before placing an order. We will accept returns on products that are not final sale items for any other reason up to 14 days after receipt of the product, however, a 5% or 10% restocking fee may apply for certain products, and return shipping costs will be up to the discretion of the consumer. Returned items must be complete and in their original unopened holders with a copy of the original invoice. Any items altered from their original shipping state will not be accepted for return. We do not accept returns after 14 days of the delivery date of the parcel. We do not refund original shipping costs. We cannot be held responsible for returned packages that arrive at our store damaged.

Sale Items

Products purchased during special sales are considered Final and are non-refundable, and non-exchangeable, except where there is an error with the listing, the item is damaged in a way that is not already described in the product description and product image, or the wrong item was sent in error. All products are sold as is and are final sales. Please contact us with any issues regarding these sale items. Please ensure that the picture and product description have been thoroughly examined before purchasing. * In some cases, the picture may not be exactly as the product that you will receive (for example, it is a stock photo), so it is important to read the product description.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet;

  • first, check your bank account again.
  • Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  • Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
  • If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at {email address} and send your item to: {physical address}.

Shipping Returns

To return your product, you should mail your product to the address, which will be in the original package or invoice. For any clarifications on return shipping, you should contact us

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. Please ensure that your items are securely packaged before sending your package for return and provide us with the tracking number. DO NOT send any items without a tracking number we are not responsible for any loss or damage of items before reaching our store. For expensive items, we encourage the buyers to purchase shipping insurance.
